Emphasizing evasive circular footwork, low kicks and piercing palm strikes, Ba
Gua is considered one of the more advanced martial art styles because of all
its complex levels of training. It begins with very simple drills for beginners,
and has step by step progess up until you are able to do the very intricate and
detailed forms which employ devastating attacks.
Through Ba Gua training you build up your endurance, coordination,
strength and flexibility. The excercises teach you breathing techniques as well
as how to conduct fluid motion in which the whole body acts in unison.
In addition to open hand circle forms, there are a large number of
specific Ba Gua training exercises. There are also many two man exercises
emphasizing chin na, or joint locks.
Lian Zhen Pu Ba Gua

Lian Zhen Pu was a student of the founder of Ba Gua, Dong Hai Chuan.
His Student was Li Zi Ming. For 20 years Li Zi Ming presided over the
world’s largest Ba Gua Association, until his death in 1993.
Cheng Style Gao Yi Sheng Ba Gua

Gao Yi Sheng was a third generation Ba Gua Master, having
studied under Cheng Ting Hua, who was a student of
Dong Hai Chuan, as well as a famous fighter.
